Fatburger Selects Radiant Systems’ Aloha QuickService POS
Ease of use and reliability cited as key factors in investment decision
ATLANTA (Oct. 19, 2005)—Famous for its cooked-to-order hamburgers, Fatburger Restaurants has selected Radiant Systems Inc.’s (NASDAQ: RADS) Aloha QuickService point-of-sale (POS) running on Radiant P1510 terminals, Aloha Inventory and Aloha Centralized Data Management solutions for more than 150 sites.
The Fatburger Restaurant chain is well known for serving big, fresh, lean beef burgers cooked-to-order on open grills across the United States and Canada.
“At Fatburger, we’ve built our success around core processes that make our quick-service atmosphere unique,” said Harold Fox, chief financial officer at Fatburger Restaurants. “We chose Aloha QuickService POS because it is built specifically for the quick-service environment and uniquely meets the needs of our operation.”
“Fatburger has built its industry-wide reputation of quality by providing great food and a unique customer experience for more than 50 years," said Andy Heyman, president of the Radiant Hospitality Division. "We’re proud to be a part of that experience. Our goal is to provide the easiest to operate and most reliable POS solution possible to Fatburger operators so that they can continue to focus on an exceptional customer experience at a Fatburger restaurant.”
Aloha Centralized Data Management provides Fatburger with data to manage from a central location ultimately simplifying restaurant operations. It also eliminates duplicate data entry of POS menu items, promotions, comps and other data, which decreases the chance for error by servers and managers.
Aloha QuickService POS reduces associate training time, improves order accuracy and provides comprehensive management of key processes from a central location. Designed for harsh retail environments, the Radiant P1510 terminals selected by Fatburger offer investment protection and flexibility through an open architecture and a 15-inch intuitive touch-screen
