Join Radiant Systems in the Fight Against Cancer at the 8th Annual Sprint for Cancer Road Race

5K and 10K race benefitting the Georgia Cancer Foundation to be held at Atlantic Station on April 18

ATLANTA (March 25, 2010) — Radiant Charity Corporation, the nonprofit organization supported by Radiant Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: RADS), is pleased to announce that the eighth annual Sprint for Cancer 5K and 10K road race will be held at Atlantic Station on Sunday, April 18 at 8 a.m. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Georgia Cancer Foundation, where the Radiant Charity Corporation has donated more than $500,000 over the course of the race’s history.

Radiant Systems’ Sprint for Cancer is orchestrated by a combination of Atlanta-based Radiant employees and community volunteers. Last year, more than 1,300 runners and volunteers participated in the event, which serves as a qualifier for the Peachtree Road Race in July. Sprint for Cancer is also a family-friendly race with many children, babies and dogs also present. This year’s festivities are complete with live music by The Serenaders and activities the whole family can enjoy.  In addition to raising funds through sponsorships and registration fees, race participants can also receive donations online through Sprint for Cancer’s Firstgiving Web site.

“We are excited that Sprint for Cancer continues to grow each year and that we have been able to continuously raise funds for the Georgia Cancer Foundation, which is an amazing organization that supports Georgia residents who have been affected by all types of cancer,” said Chris Lybeer, one of the founders of Sprint for Cancer and a vice president at Radiant Systems. “Sprint for Cancer is a prime example of Radiant getting deeply involved in the communities in which we work and live, and we look forward to another successful race this year.”
