Radiant Systems Adds Mobile Ordering Component to its Quest Product Suite for Stadiums and Arenas

Powered by FanGo, Quest’s mobile ordering tool lets fans send and receive food and beverage orders without leaving their seats

ATLANTA (April 22, 2011) — Radiant Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: RADS) and FanGo today announced the availability of mobile ordering services to the stadium and arena industry made possible through the QuestConnect API. Radiant customers can now integrate FanGo’s mobile ordering technology to their existing Quest solution to drive improvements in speed of service and customer satisfaction.

“Consumers’ use of mobile technology is greater than ever. Embracing that technology by offering services like mobile ordering is a key focus point for Radiant,” said John Brasch, general manager of the stadium and arena division at Radiant Systems. “QuestConnect makes it easy for operators to provide the ultimate guest experience by enabling integration to new and emerging third-party technologies, like digital menu boards and FanGo’s mobile ordering service.”

Among the first venues using the new mobile ordering tool is Atlanta’s Gwinnett Center and Proof of the Pudding, its foodservice provider. Customers seated in designated sections at Gwinnett Center can easily download the application, send an order to the nearest concession stand, and have the order quickly delivered to their seats, eliminating the need to stand in line and miss the event. The venue has already noticed improvements in the guest experience and overall satisfaction by providing in-seat service to event attendees.

“Our main goal is for customers to come to our arena and get the most out of the event they are there to see, which is why Quest’s mobile ordering product is so wonderful. Guests receive fast and superior service without ever having to leave their seats and stand in line,” said Ben Witte, vice president of Proof of the Pudding at Gwinnett Center. “Quest technology makes it easy for us to make our customers happy and to keep them coming back to the arena.”

“We are proud to be working with Radiant Systems to develop faster and more efficient service for the fans. Using the QuestConnect API to pass mobile orders into the Quest Venue Manager application allows fans to quickly place orders, and keeps those sales intact with the rest of the event’s normal concession sales,” said Jim Marzullo, chief executive officer at FanGo. “Creating a better fan experience is our primary mission. QuestConnect makes that easy.”
